Staebel EvacSmart Evacuation Mat
The Staebel EvacSmart patient evacuation device is positioned under the mattress and allows a nurse/carer to remove the patient from their bed and escort them to safety in the event of a fire. The mat has four elastic straps to place over each corner of the mattress so that daily bed making can occur as normal.
The ultimate in strength and durability the EvacSmart evacuation mat has three adjustable straps that, in the event of an evacuation, are secured around the patient. A lengthy strap at each end of the device allows the nurse/carer to gently lower the patient to the floor without causing them a manual handling risk trying to lift the patient. Much thought has gone into the design of this device with durability and patient comfort our primary consideration.
